Volunteer with Mx. Juneteenth

It takes a community to build a movement.

Mx. Juneteenth is powered by people who show up — with intention, with care, and with a commitment to celebrating Black and queer liberation in real time.

On Saturday, June 20, 2026, we return for our 6th annual celebration at North Coast Yard, and we’re calling on volunteers to help bring the experience to life.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering isn’t just about helping run an event — it’s about being part of something bigger.

From supporting artists and vendors to welcoming attendees and holding space for community, every role plays a part in creating a day rooted in joy, resistance, and connection.

  • A celebration of Black and queer joy, culture, and creativity

  • A growing movement centered on liberation and community care

  • A day where music, art, and people come together on the lakefront

  • An experience that thousands show up for — and remember
